I can't believe I'm sitting here writing that another year (yes, another year!) is over. I wish someone had of told me that the older you get, the faster time goes...
2012 marked my 5th year in London and my 2nd year of blogging. Looking back at my photos, I couldn't help but notice a few fashion habits that appeared over the year. For me, it was all about the trench, pink, monochrome, coats all year long and Sandro (or French fashion in general) this year!
Next year the goal is to bring back more prints and colour into my wardrobe - it's going to be a loooong spring/summer for me so my wardrobe needs to reflect that. NHG x
My favourite purchase of the year - my A.P.C trench, was worn non-stop. Invest in one in 2013 and thank me later. It won't leave your back, I promise.
My love of Sandro continued and I own at least ten pieces now. This Parisian label was made for my style and it suits my shape. Shop my Sandro Joyeyse skirt here.

Not since the late 1990's/early 2000's have I worn so much pink. Someone needed to stage an intervention to stop my addiction this year. It's my happy colour and I'm going with it.
We had the wettest April in 100 years, coldest summer in 100 years and a freezing start to December. I wore a coat for 11 months of the year, and boy did I moan about it.
I often blame my love of black on being a Melburnian. This year I mixed black with white and turned it into monochrome instead. Both shirts by Equipment - shop similar here. I wish you a very merry christmas and a happy new year.

What a great year of outfit posts! I like your APC trench, equipment blouse and sandro skirt the best...let us know if you ever sell them on ebay! Looking forward to reading the blog in 2013 ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you! I do regularly sell on eBay so will post on here if I have a clear out - although these are my 'investment' pieces so I'm holding on tight to them! x
DeleteGorgeous girl - and SO jealous of your growing Sandro collection xxx

I'm an addict I tell you! x
DeleteLove everything especially the APC trench. You've convinced me I need one. How's the sizing on it??
ReplyDeleteI'm a UK 8 - 10 (8 on top) and I bought the XS. Hope that helps!
DeleteTwice I've failed to buy the APC trench on sale in my size due to indecision. Now I've even more gutted ha. Looks great on you x
ReplyDeleteThey normally release a fab trench every season so I definitely recommend it (esp. if you'll be living in London)! ;)
DeleteThe same Dearne that was at Westfield? I'm schuh Marketing and though I recognised your name on a comment on another blog! Happy New year and gorge blog x
ReplyDeleteThese are all such fabulous outfits, Dearne. Boy, do I agree about the constant cold and wet weather. Looks like we arrived in London about the same time. The settlement visa application is driving the hubby NUTS. How's yours doing?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and inspiring outfits. You look gorgeous. Kisses

Looks like quite a fashionable year then (not that I would expect any less from you of course).
ReplyDeleteI really love Sandro as a brand too; so effortlessly chic. Sadly I do not have a body of a french man - their smalls well are not particularly small when it comes to menswear :(. I do have one top which I do love though I have to roll the sleeves up on it.
Moan all you want about the weather but you wear coats well and suit them! Love the way you style yourself and of course those statement necklaces make me go weak at the knees. Perfect!
